Let us return to the entrance of the mas.
The main door, at the foot of the tower, opens onto a hall.

We then have several choices: a long flight of white stairs
leads to the first floor or we can stay on the ground floor
and continue into the interior of the mas or we can descend
several steps into the living room.

Let is go to the right. This room belonged to "Vulcan",
the last horse to dwell in this abode. Today it is a vast
drawing room, the first of several dedicated to relaxation
and receptions. White ceiling beams lie on carved, stone
buttresses and stretch above the 19th century Provencal
shelves.

Relaxing, pink limestone decorates the walls and two deep
settees beckon us to conversation or contemplation.
The nearby gaming table stands ready to while away
the evening hours.
