The second bedroom is the "Provencal" room.
In days of yore this was the principal living room as
attested by the pile a tall cut-stone that served as the
receptacle for the household water and the large fireplace
where delicious stews would simmer.
The rustic character of this room is preserved by the two
wrought iron frame beds. Afternoon sunlight traverses
linen curtains to brighten this room.
The low door between the pile and the fireplace leads us
to the bathroom.
Here too materials such as the stone counter tops and
shower stall walls, honey coloured, porcelain-fired wash
basins, sculpted shelves and mirrors and modern touches
such as the appointments, lighting and fixtures combine
to preserve the rustic atmosphere.
